Homework is an opportunity to communicate between home and school so that all children can succeed. Work done at school will be reinforced at home with the support of parents and carers. This allows parents and carers the opportunity to join in with the exciting learning journeys of their children.
We aim to:
· make sure each child is given homework to help support work in the classroom
· make sure that the needs of individuals are considered
· work in partnership with parents
· provide opportunities for parents and their children to work together and enjoy a range of learning experiences
Teachers will inform parents and carers when homework is set and when it should be completed by. There are also homework menus which are given out at the start of each half term. These consist of nine activities from which the children can choose three.
